Services / In-Home Care
Available in Orange, Seminole, and Polk Counties.
Each year, Seniors First provides nearly 300,000 hours of in-home care to seniors in an effort to help them stay in the home they love, as well as delay moving to an assisted living or nursing facility.
We assist our seniors in Orange, Seminole, and Polk Counties with daily activities that have become difficult due to declining mobility and health. This includes clients who are referred to us that are at high risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Clients may be charged a copay based on income. Key services include:
Care Management — A custom care plan consisting of supportive services, in-home and community-based, is coordinated by a care manager who monitors the senior’s needs.
Homemaker Service — Includes light housekeeping and home management services, such as laundry, shopping assistance, and meal preparation.
Personal Care Assistance — Includes bathing, dressing, feeding, shaving and walking assistance.
Companionship — Providing socialization, conversation and assistance with reading and personal tasks such as running errands and shopping.
Respite Care — A trained companion for your loved one who can relieve caregivers for a few hours.
